Overtones, Harmonics and the Human Voice – Sound Speeds
Published on Jul 13, 2018
This is a complex topic and one that requires I go into a bit of biology to fully explain. Yes, I could have stuck to definitions but I feel it’s important to fully explore. That said… Most people aren’t aware that the human voice is so complex – almost as complex as the body parts producing it. As sound enthusiasts it’s important to have an understanding of the human voice in order to help you understand how to better record it. The human is very simple in thought but quite complex in application because there are many sounds that come together to produce every sound you hear. In this video, I’ll dive deep and explain what you need to know about the human voice and some things as a bonus.
